Administrator

Janet’s love for the elderly and desire to help those in need brought her to the healthcare field in 1985 as a CNA in a skilled setting. After working in various skilled settings she as hired at Windsor Estates Assisted Living and Specialized Memory Care in 1997 as a Resident Caregiver. She went on to become a Resident Care Specialist, and finally a House Manager. In May 2002 she accepted a position at Fountain View of Portage and became Director of Resident Care, working very closely with the Administrator. In January 2011 she accepted the position of Administrator of Fountain View of Portage. Janet has Certificates of training in HIPPA –Overview/General & Organizational Requirements, Disaster Preparedness, OSHA, Geriatric Care & Dementia Care, Abuse and Critical Incident Training, Applying Risk Management to Clinical Practices, and Behavior Changes. She also completed level 1 Certification for Assisted Living Administrators from Senior Living University. Her passion has been and always will be that each resident feels loved and be provided with quality care to ensure they have the best quality life possible no matter what their limitations are in an environment which they call home. In Janet’s free time she enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and parents. They enjoy bowling, cooking, and traveling together. She currently attends Second Baptist Church.

Tasha Cummings

Associate Administrator

Tasha has been a part of the Park Place team since July 2007. She started off as a Resident Care Specialist and then became a Resident Care Manager in the memory care building for 4 years. She was then promoted to Business Office Manager and served in that role for 5 years. In January 2024, Tasha accepted the position of Associate Administrator. Tasha enjoys working with their residents and making sure they are getting the care they deserve. Hearing their stories and seeing their smiles makes her day. In her free time, Tasha enjoys being with her family. She has two daughters and two grandsons. Tasha also enjoys going on trips with family and friends as well as having her own time to relax.
